Psychoeducational Assessment for Children and Adolescents Age 6+
Hi there! I'm Amanda (she/her). I’m a Psychologist with nearly a decade of experience providing psychological services in schools, and a passion for working with kids/youth and their families to ensure that every child not only understands their unique brain but knows that who they are is worth celebrating. I specialize in the identification of learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and other challenges that may be impacting a child's ability to perform to their potential in school and life.
Through comprehensive psychoeducational assessment, I assess cognitive abilities, academic strengths and weaknesses, social/emotional functioning, and attention/executive functioning to understand an individual's unique thinking and learning patterns. Results of the assessment are used to make practical recommendations for how best to support your child.
If there is one thing that I can promise you, it’s this: Your child is the same person when they walk in my office as when they walk out. The only thing that will change is your level of understanding of who they are and how you can support their uniquely perfect self.
